February 19th, 2018, Galway - Quidel Corporation, a market leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of rapid diagnostic testing solutions today announced it is to establish a Business Service Centre in Galway city to support its new international business, targeting the creation of 75 jobs over five years.
Tuesday, 13th February 2018 – Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys TD and IDA Ireland today welcomed theat announcement that MSD is to develop a new biotechnology facility in Dublin, with the expected creation of up to 350 new jobs.
Known as MSD Biotech, Dublin, the facility will be constructed on an existing MSD-owned property, the site of its former facility in Swords, Co. Dublin.
Dublin, Tuesday 13th February 2017 – Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys TD joined CEO of Autodesk Andrew Anagnost today to announce the opening of a major new site for the company in Dublin. Autodesk, the global leader in design software, will initially hire 200 people in finance, operations, localisation and sales operations by the end of this year to support its EMEA business.
Autodesk is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.

Thursday, 8th February 2018. Taoiseach Leo Varadkar TD today officially opened Google’s newest offices in Dublin that will serve as a home to Google’s growing Enterprise and Cloud teams in Dublin. Located in the Velasco Building on Dublin’s Grand Canal, the teams will play a strategic role in helping to grow Google’s cloud and enterprise business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Velasco will also be home to an Advanced Solutions Lab where Google Cloud’s enterprise customers can co-create and develop customised solutions for their business on-site in conjunction with Google Cloud experts.
Bank of Ireland today has announced that they will open a second FDI Hub for international companies looking to locate to Ireland. The FDI Hub, based in the Bank’s building on College Green, will complement the existing space on Stephen’s Green. The space provides complimentary office and meeting space for international companies planning to set up in Ireland. Bank of Ireland is the first and only Irish bank offering this service to FDI companies and it continues Bank of Ireland’s support for businesses of all stages through its workbenches, startlabs and FDI spaces.
