Identifying Ireland’s value for AI

CalypsoAI opened an AI centre of excellence in Dublin in 2023, and the following year, it announced that the office would be its global co-headquarters, together with New York. The Irish office is a strategic location, with both the CEO and CTO based there. Both are veterans of Qualtrics, the software company with an extensive presence in Dublin where it has its EMEA headquarters. 

The Dublin operation houses the vast majority of the company’s high-value R&D function and is playing a key role in the company’s growth and innovation. Industry forecasts anticipate the AI security market could be worth more than $100 million by 2030. 

As part of the expansion in Ireland, the company said it would recruit 100 people to work in a range of roles across engineering, data science, sales, marketing and operations. 

The co-headquarters in Dublin’s city centre is also intended to serve as a hub for the AI community, with events and other opportunities to collaborate and share insights with the indigenous and international AI ecosystem.
